Dia de Muertos Tour

The Day of the Dead is a Mexican celebration that honours the dead. This tradition is rooted in pre-Hispanic times, although today they also incorporate elements of Catholicism and even modern touches, to the point that the beauty and complexity of this collection has attracted the attention of everyone.
UNESCO named it intangible heritage of humanity in 2008.

We are going to visit one of the most traditional pantheons in the region, the cemetery of Santa María Atzompa, where Oaxacan families gather to celebrate and remember their dead.
